Our choice of classic stethoscopes is designed to monitor and assess a wide range of patients. Suitable for use in general practice, general wards, accident and emergency, urgent care, obstetrics and gynaecology.

A stethoscope can be used to listen to the sounds the heart make as it contracts and relaxes. By listening to various locations within the area of the heart, a doctor can identify abnormalities such as murmurs, clicks or any irregular patterns. For a healthy adult, two sounds are expected from a heartbeat: a "lub" and a "dub", forming the familiar "lub-dub" sequence.
